Instead of reading the articles I collected to begin re-writing my thesis chapter on theory, I re-covered the dresser that serves as my tv stand. I think this was a wise decision. Furniture should be covered, lest it be inappropriately naked.
Also, I painted my futon. I figured that if someone went to the trouble of producing upholstery paint, I should oblige them by using it.
